Ellen Martinez is an Emmy Award-nominated documentary director, producer, and writer whose work tells meaningful stories through a character driven lens. She directed and produced AFTER SPRING (Starz, Tribeca World Premiere, E.P. Jon Stewart) and SLUMLORD MILLIONAIRE (PBS, DOC NYC Audience Award Winner, 2026 Emmy Award Nominee). She has worked as a producer and writer on various projects and was a Netflix Nonfiction Directing & Producing Fellow. She is based in Brooklyn NY.
